Overview
This overview explains how the three FlowFuel assessments fit together. Each one looks at a different layer of your biology. Read together, they reduce guesswork when choosing supplements.
The Trifecta Testing framework moves beyond standard reference ranges, using a systems-biology approach to look at metabolic bottlenecks, microbial dysbiosis and genetic predispositions that affect cellular performance.
The Multi-Omics Integration Model
Genomic Foundations
The BlueprintYour inherent genetic predispositions (SNPs) and potential metabolic bottlenecks. This is what could happen.
Gut Microbiome
The EnvironmentThe internal ecosystem that processes nutrients, regulates immunity, and produces neurotransmitters.
Metabolomics
The Real-Time OutputThe actual cellular exhaust. What your body is doing right now based on the interaction of your genes and environment.
Clinical Insight: The intersection of these three layers reduces guesswork. Genomics provides the map, the Microbiome sets the terrain, and Metabolomics shows where you are standing today.
Metabolomic Profiling
Metabolomics provides a real-time snapshot of cellular function. Through the analysis of organic acids in urine, we can look at the efficiency of the Krebs cycle, neurotransmitter turnover rates, and systemic oxidative stress.
Interactive 3D Cell: The Metabolomic View
Hover over or tap the cell layers to explore where we measure your biology.
Mitochondria
Energy Production (ATP)
The engine. We assess Krebs cycle intermediates and oxidative stress markers to see exactly how efficiently your cells are producing energy.

The gut microbiome acts as the primary interface for nutrient absorption and immune regulation. Using quantitative PCR (qPCR) and DNA sequencing allows for the identification of keystone species, opportunistic pathogens, and fungal overgrowths that traditional cultures may miss.
Genomic Foundations
While metabolomics shows what is happening now, genomics shows what the system is predisposed to do. Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms (SNPs) in the methylation (MTHFR, COMT) and detoxification (CYP450) pathways can influence which molecular form of a nutrient may suit you.
For example, some people carry variants that change which form of a nutrient suits them. Genomic mapping helps point to those differences.
